Recall a time when you or a friend has been under a lot of stress and think about the causes of that stress.

In 50-100 words, explain the cause of the stress and how you could have handled that stressful situation.

1) Between these two, which do you like most?

A) When I get stressed I go to the gym. I will either work out or play basketball or hit the punching bag. It’s not hard to deal with stress. You just have to keep yourself calm and maintain your stress to a certain level. I don’t really have a hard time with stress, but if I do then I will just shut everybody out and go to my room. B) One time I and my friend were under stress during football season. We have a "no pass, no play" policy at school. Both of us were failing one of our classes. We had 1 week to bring up our grades in order to play the rest of the season. My friend and I were going every morning to our class just to make up all of our work that we were missing and failed. Once the week was over, we waited just to see if we passed or not. We ended up passing. All of that work payed off in the end.
2) Between these two, which do you like most?

A) A time when I was under stress was when my teacher and principal kept telling me that I wasn't going to graduate my senior year constantly. Instead of listening to them I just would finish all my assignments and study for every exam as much as I could. In the end I passed with honors. B) I remember being in my English class and I had about 3 weeks to prepare for a 5 page paper, but instead of starting it ahead of time I waited till the last two days to get it done. I way rushing and asking my teacher for last minuet advice on how I should compose my paper. I could have saved myself so much worry if I would have just started my paper when I was supposed to. I could have asked my teacher for an outline so I knew how to write my paper. I could have also got my quotes and outside sources earlier instead of the day before the paper was due. I also could have finished my paper before the due date and let my teacher revise whatever was needed to get a better grade.
3) Between these two, which do you like most?

A) One way I deal with stress is that I will go for a walk. Or it really depends on what I’m stressed about. Sometimes I’ll just put some music on and write or draw something or maybe play my game. It’s not hard to deal with stress. You just have to know your strengths and weaknesses. Most of the time I’ll just ignore everyone and listen to music and write something or play games on my phone. B) Well sometimes people can have a ton of stress from anything maybe family problems, school, relationship problems etc., but anyone can have a lot stress from anything. But the causes from it may be that there over thinking too much or maybe they can't handle it because it's too much. But it's okay; they shouldn't trip over it. They should just ignore it or try their best not to over think about it because that's what leads them to being all down or maybe they could hang out with a friend to get the stuff off their mind. But at the end, everything should be okay because every day is a new day.
4) Between these two, which do you like most?

A) I recall a day that I had a lot of stress because no matter how much I wanted to, I couldn’t understand what the teacher was explaining. So, what I did was that I raised my hand and I told the teacher the problem. She told me that she would help me when she finished explaining. She told a classmate that if he could explain I could sit next to him. In this way I was able to relax more, I knew there was a solution and that I didn’t have to stress so much. B) My friend was stressing over family, and relationship problems. At first she came up to me a little down. Then after a while she cheered up. Days went by and she got worse. She would tell me that she was depressed. Then more days went by. She isolated herself, She would hardly eat. Until one day she ended her relationship and talked to her family. She went back to her normal self, to a positive attitude, and more sociable.
